How to Get Here:
The University of Michigan-Dearborn Observatory is located atop the Science Learning and Research Center (SLRC) on the west side of the main campus on Evergreen Road (see the map for details). Visitor parking for public events held at the Observatory is available in Lot C or in the Monteith Avenue Parking Structure, and after 6:00pm, in Lot A.

Driving directions to the main campus at 4901 Evergreen Road, Dearborn, MI are as follows:

From the West: Take I-94 east to the Southfield Expressway (M-39) and exit north. Follow the Southfield to Michigan Ave. (U.S. 12) and exit west. Take Michigan Ave. west to Evergreen Road. Turn right, merging into traffic from the east. Follow Evergreen past Hubbard Rd. and turn left around the island. Move immediately into the right lane and turn right into the northern entrance of the campus.

From the East: Take I-94 west to Michigan Ave. (U.S. 12) and exit west. Take Michigan Ave. to Evergreen. Turn right, merging into traffic from the east. Follow Evergreen past Hubbard Road and turn left around the island. Move immediately into the right lane and turn right into the northern entrance of the campus.

From the South: Take the Southfield Expressway (M39) north to Michigan Ave. (U.S. 12) and exit west. Take Michigan Ave. to Evergreen. Turn right, merging into traffic from the east. Follow Evergreen past Hubbard Road and turn left around the island. Move immediately into the right lane and turn right into the northern entrance of the campus.

From the North: Take the Southfield Expressway (M 39) south to Ford Road (M-153) and exit west. Follow Ford Road about one mile to Evergreen Road and go south. We are on the west (right) side of the road, immediately south of Henry Ford Community College.
